“On Monday 1/21/13 my 14 year old son was skiing at DMR as part of Local’s Day. He didn’t have the $7 locker fee, so he hid the shoes with a brand new pair of $250 orthotics in them. When he went back they were gone!
I called and spoke with Colleen Mize (Guest Services Manager) Monday evening. She did a preliminary search and could not find them. The next morning I spoke with Britton Layman (Ticket Office Supervisor) and Roy Meiworm (Guest Service Staff).
They were already familiar with the problem because Colleen had left a detailed note from the previous evening! They all went out to search again. Roy looked up and saw the shoes in a tree! It took 3 of them to get them down and Roy called me back to let me know they had gotten them down.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all of their help and helpful attitude! We could not have afforded to replace them, so it was a BIG deal. Each of them were courteous to a fault and went way beyond the call of duty to help us out.
I just wanted you to know that you have an A+ staff that handled this in such a professional manner! We are locals, we live in Forest Lakes and my son is an avid skier.
